In the 65th episode of the series, Osman Bey, who captured Priest Gregor, who came to the region to take shelter in Bilecik Tekfuru Rogatus Laskaris, defeated both the Byzantine troops and the Catalan warriors who wanted to seize Gregor. Osman Bey, who made his plan after he got the intelligence about Father Gregor’s escape, sent Cerkutay in disguise to meet Father Gregor. Cerkutay, who took Gregor and his caravan with the raft he used, could not prevent his identity from being revealed. Gregor’s bodyguards tied Cerkutay and threw him into the water.
Osman Bey and his alps, who were lying in ambush, were following Father Gregor and his caravan from afar. While the soldiers of Tekfur Rogatus were going to surrender Gregor, Catalan warriors appeared and attacked the caravan. Taking advantage of this turmoil, Osman Bey and his alps followed Gregor, who was trying to escape with the raft. While the Catalan warriors were on Priest Gregor’s raft, Osman Bey caught up and drew attention with his arrow. Osman Bey, who jumped into the water while galloping with his horse, reached the raft and got into a fight with the Catalan warriors. The struggle of Osman Bey and his alps was carried underwater and eventually the enemy was neutralized.

Osman Bey, who did not break his silence, said, “I will give you an opportunity to live long enough to receive the reward of your prayer. Don’t worry! Your life and your property are entrusted to us.” he assured.
